I have a 1977 Garelli Sport 50cc, that wont stay running without clutch on.?
it wont stay running without the clutch or the throttle on full.
when either 1 of those lets off it stalls and tends not to want to
start again for atleast an hour. not sure what the prob is. carb
was cleaned. new plug. fresh gas with the right mixture.
cleaned engine(inside) with new gaskets. the petcock is
cleaned and no kinks in the line. there is plenty of
compression and spark to keep it running and the plug is wet
from gas when i pull it to check. points are also set
correct.piston rings are good and the cylinder wall has no
nicks or gouges in it either. thinking of everything here. :/ is it
the main jet? is it maybe the tank has crap in it?does anyone
have a clue out there what would make it do what it is doing?
what would need to fix/replace to get it to stay running? really
need the help. thanks~ J
I DO believe that you need to take your Garelli Sport to a reliable mechanic that KNOWS your engine WELL.
