is a 4 cylinder engine usually automatic or manual transmission?
I'm looking for a car, and this one place i've found a bunch of cars for pretty cheap, they all have 4 cylinder engines, but the website (autotrader.com) doesn't list what type of transmission they have. i was wondering if like all cars with a 4 cylinder transmission are manual, which would explain why they are so cheap or if it's just a coincidence.
I would find the car you want, then call the place to find out if its a manual or automatic. With 4 bangers it can go either way. I would also email autotrader and tell them to list cars transmission types.
